Oxytocin-Assisted Psychotherapy

Oxytocin is a peptide hormone that functions as a neurotransmitter in the brain. It is naturally produced by the body in a brain region known as the hypothalamus and secreted by the pituitary gland. Research has shown that Oxytocin can help treat autism, addiction, anxiety, eating disorders, alcohol use, and PTSD. It has also been proven to treat relational trauma.
