About Feya Health

Feya Health is a psychotherapy clinic with locations in multiple Sates throughout the US. We hire the majority of our placement Therapists for Paid Therapist Positions upon graduation. Feya Health incorporates an integrative & holistic therapeutic clinical approach with clients in addressing mental health conditions. Feya Health designed a psychotherapy protocol that gets to the core of destructive patterns, unhealthy coping mechanisms, presenting symptoms, and mental health imbalance. We have created a systematic approach to being able to offer our services to the underprivileged communities. The Feya Health placement allows a lower rate option for the underserved and underprivileged communities. We treat presenting problems that include relational issues, mental health disorders, as well as trauma related symptoms and imbalances such as CPTSD & PTSD. Our clinical group practice specializes in utilizing empirically proven therapeutic modalities.

Our team of therapists at Feya Health offer a strong clinical orientation & an immersive experiential process using the most cutting edge & empirically proven therapeutic modalities. Our integrative therapeutic approach in combination with psychedelic medicine creates an innovative way of working with complex trauma and other mental health issues. We’re deeply passionate about connecting our clients to long-term and sustainable growth, facilitating healing at the most fundamental level.

We offer both virtual as well as in-person Psychotherapy sessions. We also have a retreat space on 20 acres for group therapy workshops, trainings and retreats. We specialize in working with clients ages 21-65 to address their mental health conditions.

The Feya Health Therapy Internship

Feya Health is an advanced placement that offers our therapist interns the opportunity for direct clinical experience with our clients in a clinical psychotherapeutic setting.

The role of the therapist intern will be to have direct clinical experience with individual, couple, family and group psychotherapy sessions both in person as well as virtually. We encourage both a Hybrid as well as a fully virtual therapy placement.

Therapist interns will also have the opportunity to engage in weekly supervision meetings to discuss their clients cases and receive guidance on their process. Weekly peer group meetings and extensive trainings in many cutting edge therapy modalities are offered here at Feya Health as part of the internship. Ethical and legal psychedelic assisted psychotherapy sessions are also offered at Feya Health and experience and training is an option as part of the therapy internship with the school’s approval.

What the Feya Health Therapist Internship Includes

Engage in weekly 1/1 supervision meetings with a supervisor to discuss and receive guidance on client cases
Extensive & ongoing trainings in specialized therapeutic modalities & approaches including with the Head Psychiatrist & Head Psychologist at Feya Health
Create and enter weekly progress notes for clients
Manage the assessment and intake process with clients
Train in using an advance level EHR system to ensure HIPAA compliance and a smooth ethical process with clients.
Learn how to create treatment plans and implement specialized therapy modalities in a clinical setting
Ethical and legal psychedelic assisted psychotherapy sessions are also offered at Feya Health and clinical experience and training is an option as part of the therapy internship with the school’s approval.
Therapist interns will learn how the practice is run including the back end of the insurance coverage process and how to provide insurance invoices for clients.
Therapist interns will learn and practice the specified therapeutic processes to treat various mental health conditions including complex trauma.
