Esther is an Integral Psychotherapist at Feya Health where she practices an integrative, humanistic, psychodynamic and attachment-based psychotherapeutic approach with her clients. As part of her practice, she incorporates a strong clinical approach with Ketamine-assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). Esther comes from a background in a Masters in Marriage & Family Therapy at Hofstra University.
Esther is a trained Trauma & Somatic Psychotherapist and specializes in the integration of Ketamine, clinical Shadow work and Complex Trauma. Esther is also trained in EMDR, CBT, IFS, EFT, DBT, Hypnotherapy, Breathwork, Somatic Havening and Oxytocin Assisted Psychotherapy.
Esther is a psychotherapist with a clinical base in marriage and family therapy. Her background includes a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Hofstra University and a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Middlesex University in London. Esther has completed a dissertation on the long-term effects of childhood experiences and the effect of protective factors. She has also completed research in neuroradiology at Einstein Medical Center where she assisted in studies that had her co-published in Oxford Academic Press’s journal, Brain.
Esther believes that the therapeutic alliance is one of the key components of successful therapy and employs a customized combined approach when working with clients to best suit their needs and goals for therapy. Esther specializes in relationships, family therapy, trauma, somatic responses, relationship and interpersonal issues as well as a wide range of mental health struggles.
A British Expat, when Esther is not helping clients, she can be found imparting her worldly and English charm among friends and family or introducing them to European fashion and culture.
