Marissa is a Licensed Integral Therapist at Feya Health where she practices an integrative psychotherapeutic approach with her clients. As part of her practice, she incorporates a strong clinical approach with ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP).
Marissa comes from a background in a Masters in Social Work at Columbia University and the Columbia Psychedelic Therapy Training Program. Marissa is a trained trauma & somatic therapist and specializes in the integration of IFS, KAP, and EMDR. Marissa is also and advanced level IFS Therapist.
Marissa is also trained in DBT, ACT, CBT, clinical shadow work and oxytocin-assisted psychotherapy. She was trained in Internal Family Systems therapy by the IFS Institute. With over two decades of diverse experience, Marissa brings a wealth of knowledge to this work. She earned her BA in Art History and Spanish Literature and Culture with honors from NYU in 2006 and went on to work in the arts before venturing into the hospitality industry, opening restaurants in New York City and abroad.
Throughout her journey, she has explored and practiced various mind-body-spirit techniques, including breathwork, meditation, yoga, and dance. For those interested, she integrates breath practices, movement, meditation and functional nutrition into her approach. Marissa's commitment is to guide her clients on their path towards self-discovery. She blends recent scientific insights with historical wisdom to foster personal transformation. Marissa invites individuals to delve into and address the roots of their inner challenges, and supports them in unlocking their full potential to lead more fulfilling lives.
