Meryl is an Integral Psychotherapist at Feya Health where she practices an integrative psychotherapeutic approach with her clients. As part of her practice, she incorporates a strong clinical approach with Ketamine-assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). Meryl comes from a background in a Masters in Creative Arts Therapy at Hofstra University. Her training spans various therapeutic modalities and art interventions, including visual art, movement/dance, play, and sand tray with a focus on trauma and professional development. She began her work in the field with a placement in the in-patient psych ward at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn.
She is a trained Trauma & Somatic Psychotherapist and specializes in the integration of Ketamine clinical Shadow work and Complex Trauma. Meryl is also trained in EMDR, CBT, IFS, EFT, DBT, ACT, Hypnotherapy, Breathwork, Somatic Havening and Oxytocin Assisted Psychotherapy.
Meryl comes to the Creative Arts Therapy space with a background and successful track record as a communications executive, entrepreaeur and career coach. In those roles, she’s worked with both individuals and companies to foster strong communications and break through creative blocks and interpersonal challenges to leverage creative techniques in identifying and attaining personal goals.
